The new Professional Line

The first device in the pro and prosumer line will be the TRINITY Microphone Preamp. This device is of course based on our new distortion free gain stage. The architecture of this ultra linear Mic preamp consists of two ultra linear, low-noise, balanced gain stages and an output attenuator per channel. The final device will…

Assembled

Assembled „8-layer PCB with IPC 4761 Typ VII: Filled & Capped Vias“. The Photo was taken during the final inspection with a 10 x optical zoom microscope camera. It shows the counts of ICs and passive devices for the one channel. This special camera has only a resolution of 720p, therefore the pictures are not…

Oscillators

Inside of the TRINITY DAC we have two dedicated high performance OCVCXO (Oven controlled Volatge controled X-tal Oscillator). The added “voltage controlled” feature allows us to tune the frequency to 1ppb (parts per billion). These customized TRINITY Oscillators are running at 22.579,2MHz (512 x 44.1kHz) and 24.576MHz (512 x 48kHz). An excellent “regular”  X-tal oscillator …

Trinity DAC

TRINITY DAC output spectrum 1kHz 0dBFS, 192kHz/24bit, 480Mbps duplex fibre optical USB2.0 interface. Bandwidth 10Hz-30MHz The only visible frequency is the remaining clock frequency at 24.576MHz which is roughly 70dB below the 1kHz test tone, since the TRINITY DAC has no active low-pass filter in the signal chain. Nether the second master clock of 22.579200MHz…

MQA

Beside the concerns of some recording companies like https://www.linn.co.uk/blog/mqa-is-bad-for-music , TRINITY will not support MQA from a simple technical aspect, since the TRINITY DAC plays always high-res files in master tape sound and does not need MQA. The digital filter inside of the TRINITY DAC is bypassed for music files with sample rates of 176.4kHz…
